Description: The aim of the DTA is to establish a large balanced core corpus of the most important works in German language dating from the beginning of letterpress printing until present. In the first project phase from July 2007-June 2010 the focus is on digitising about 750 texts from the period 1780-1900, i.e. more than 250.000 pages.

Implementation description: We use a customization of TEI P5 including the following modules: corpus, drama, figures, gaiji, linking, namesdates, transcr, verse, tagdocs. In particular we removed some elements from drama and added att.coordinated to the c and w elements.
