  • Conference Updates

    • TEI2025:
      • Board thanks Jagiellonian University and all those involved in the organisation, production, and delivering of it for a wonderful conference
    • TEI2026:
      • Waiting on website
      • SSHRC Connections grant proposal in progress

  • Council Report

    • Council wants to keep nominated individuals who are not elected for a TEI-C Technical Contributors Program.
      • This would consist of an education program of tutorials, github, commandline, building the TEI-C Guidelines locally, submitting pull requests, advanced ODD structures, etc.
      • Requests board to keep pressure on Council via Council reports to Board
      • Dimitra Grigoriou recommends the #DariahTeach tutorials that Council might be able to direct people to in order to not reinvent the wheel.

  • Membership Drive

    • Board is keen to preserve the Council face-to-face meetings: This builds rapport and rewards and increases their dedication to council works. Council members donate a substantial amount of in-kind time.
    • AGM: members asked the Board to be creative, seek now revenue streams
    • Option to donate towards others' memberships
    • Explore grant-funding for development of TEI P6
    • #WeAreTheTEI to highlight successes
    • Need a mechanism to make the social media coordinator position bigger, more involved
    • We need multilingual social media ambassadors
